ABB 1600 Robot Waterjet System For Helmet Processing

Win-Win Waterjet Co., Ltd is cooperating with our partner company, to design ABB 1600 Robot Waterjet System For Helmet Processing,a new robotic waterjet cutting workstation and provide corresponding equipment, inpurpose to trimming and punching on Helmet work blanks. According to customer requirements, we provide structure designing, select the robot unit and waterjet cutting system.

Due to the special material of the helmet and the customer's smoothness requirements for the edges, we had to use Abrasive waterjet cutting to design it. We first conducted effective cutting experiments on helmet samples, judged several important data, and then made material selection and frame design.

This design scheme allows four helmets to be cut in sequence, and each helmet can be designed as a new cutting route. The thickened steel plate partition effectively prevents the impact of abrasive garnets inclusions on other workpieces during the cutting process. The customer is very satisfied.

We spent 72 hours setting up the experimental conditions and measuring the experimental data. During this process, our engineers and designers gradually discovered new features of the combination of robots and waterjet cutting technology, and were able to better and more comprehensively provide customers with reasonable and effective solutions. The experimental results were satisfactory and the customer felt at ease.

The baffle is set around the upper part of the tank to prevent abrasive and water splashing out of the working platform during transverse cutting.

Rubber plates are arranged around the inside of the tank to prevent cutting and leakage of the sidewall of the tank by waterjet
The workpiece and the fixture are placed inside the tank. There is a rubber barrier plate between each workpiece to prevent damage to other stations during the operation of a single helmet

The bottom of the workstation is also provided with a drainage tray of the corresponding size, which is convenient for the workstation to drain water.

On the left, right and back of the frame, sound-proof rubber panels are set on the top to effectively block noise, prevent water and abrasive, and protect the external environment of the workstation.

In front of the door is a sliding door. The upper part of the door is a transparent window frame with an acrylic panel for observing the internal operation of the workstation.

The integrated robotic waterjet cutting workstation built by Win-Win will be presented to customers in a brand new manner. We use orange, white and red as the main colors to separate the entire workstation from the factory's view. Of course, customers can also choose their own colors according to the needs of the factory, suit the main tone of the factory, so that the production line neat and uniform. In terms of device connectivity, WIN-Win will use aviation plugs for electrical connectivity.

Instant plug and plug, at the same time on the opposite circuit marked with a clear label, easy to install and maintain workers. During the delivery of disassembly and assembly components, Win-Win will pack and ship in a modular disassembly manner, place them in containers in a reasonable layout, and take multiple anti-collision measures to ensure the safety and stability of equipment and architecture during transportation
